Meet Portia: (Adoption Pending)

Portia a 6 year old Black and Silver (spayed) Female, is looking for a patient, kind and loving “forever home”.  She is up to-date on all her vaccinations, micro chipped and loves other dogs and even cats. Portia gets along with children after she gets familiar with them and like most miniature schnauzers likes to bark to protect her family and property. She is crate trained (which is where she sleeps), walks well on a leash and has been trained at the California K-9 academy as a puppy where she learned  the basic commands but, needs reminding of this training from time to time. Portia is looking to be placed immediately, if she sounds like a pet you are interested in please contact Sandi Bunting.

Rosie is a 4 year old female, with folded ears, she is current on her rabies shot, house trained, crate trained, is good with kids, and walks well on a leash.   Must find a home prior to June 1st.

We need foster homes in Southern California. With the economy, more and more dogs are being surrendered by owners, most shelters are full, and we are being called upon to rescue many more Schnauzers than in the past. If you are in Southern California, please call Doris or Sandi, for further information if you are able to help out, or email Doris by clicking on her name.

MSCSC's Miniature Schnauzer Rescue - Welcomes donations to help off-set the clubs expenses incurred for the rescue program (i.e. veterinary fees, feeding, boarding, grooming and veterinary fees associated with the program.) You may send your donation to:
