MSCSC BREED RESCUE SERVICES
Members of The Miniature Schnauzer Club of Southern California are dedicated to finding good homes for all rescued Miniature Schnauzers.
Rescued Mini Schnauzers may be of all color varieties, all ages, both sexes, different activity levels, and a range of sizes.
Rescued dogs normally come from a variety of sources. It isn't unusual that people are required to move and can't keep their dog. Occasionally, individuals acquire a dog & then find that it doesn't fit their lifestyle.
Rescued dogs may also need a new home if their owners pass away and no family or friends are willing or able to adopt the dog. Sometimes Mini Schnauzers are rescued from animal shelters. If a dog can be identified by microchip or information from the person relinquishing the dog, it may be returned to its breeder to find a suitable home. If not, our rescue people will foster the dog until a suitable placement is found.
The majority of rescued dogs have been well-loved pets and already have good social behavior and house training. A smaller number of these dogs may require extra attention from the right person/family if they are older or have an age-related health issue.
If you would like to give a rescued Miniature Schnauzer a home please email rescue@mscsc.org. We will discuss your needs, the dog's needs, and try to match you with the appropriate animal.
